Karnataka Minority Education Vision Group

About Us

The Karnataka Minority Education Vision Group is a high-level advisory committee constituted by the Government of Karnataka to guide reforms in minority education. Chaired by Sri Mansoor Ali Khan, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, the Group brings together 16 eminent educationists, institution heads, administrators and subject experts, with the Director, Minority Welfare Department as Member Secretary.

Our Mission

To identify gaps in access, quality and outcomes of education for minority communities in Karnataka, and to recommend practical, time-bound reforms to the Government — working with schools, colleges, teachers, parents and community institutions.

Our Vision

Every child from Karnataka’s minority communities completes school, learns well, and has a clear pathway to higher education, skills and dignified employment.

Chairman’s Message

It is a privilege to lead the Karnataka Minority Education Vision Group. Education is the surest path to dignity and opportunity, and our task is to listen carefully — to students, parents, teachers and institutions — and turn what we hear into practical recommendations for the Government.
